Everything you need to know about Joka 140 Loft Vario "VE234 Brushed Granite Oak"

The JOKA 140 Loft collection is a new engineered wood flooring from popular German brand JOKA. You can find four selections suitable for different variations of placement patterns: Maxi, Vario, HKL and Chevron. With these you obtain suitable variants for a cube-shaped arrangement, in vertical position or in the classic French design in spike. Therefore, there will be no limit. The individual selections also differ in the length and width of the planks. However, they all have a common 4mm wear layer, so you can also sand the floor if necessary, adding to its longevity.

The range of JOKA 140 Loft products ranges from light Oak planks to warm and dark variants of Acacia and Walnut. Depending on the product, the manufacturer uses natural oil or varnish for sealing, which gives the surface a matt shine. Some options also have a brushed surface layer and a circumferential edge, which together provide a pleasant and natural overall image. As the floor is available in different shades, you can decide for yourself the design you want for your home.

For the placement of this engineered wood flooring it is recommended to join the planks to give them enough support. Although this type of installation may be more expensive than other methods, it is worthwhile since it provides two important benefits. Firstly, the acoustic properties are improved, since the distance between the parquet and the ground is reduced. Secondly, the floor can conduct heat better, so it can be combined perfectly with a hot water underfloor heating system and enjoy a pleasant temperature with each step.
