Everything you need to know about UZIN PE 260 (1kg)

UZIN PE 260 is a highly concentrated dispersion primer used for dense and absorbent substrates prior to patching work in interior areas. This primer provides an ideal bonding bridge and a strong blocking effect against mixing water, creating a stable base for subsequent floor covering work. It can be applied undiluted on dense, less absorbent substrates and diluted on absorbent surfaces. It is particularly suitable for use on renovation substrates with firmly adhering adhesive residues, dense substrates such as stone floors, ceramic tiles, and epoxy coatings, as well as on various types of screeds.

Product Features:

  • Versatile for use on different substrates: from cast asphalt screeds to particleboard and wood substrates.
  • Film-forming and highly concentrated, providing strong adhesion.
  • Easy to apply with the UZIN Nylon Plush Roller.
  • Fast drying: Dries within approximately 1 hour at 20 °C.
  • Environmentally friendly: Very low emissions (EMICODE EC 1 PLUS) and solvent-free (GISCODE D1).

Application:
UZIN PE 260 is used before the application of cement or calcium sulfate-based patching compounds and before screeding on all relevant substrates. The application requires thorough preparation of the substrate, which must be clean, dry, and free of cracks. For optimal results, the room temperature during application should be between 15–25 °C.
