In the beginning, however, you should first cut the lengths of wallpaper according to the dimensions of your walls and add about five centimeters, which you can later cut cleanly if the wallpaper adheres to the wall. Mix the paste according to the package insert and avoid the formation of lumps. You should also make sure that your walls are dry and smooth.

With a non-woven wallpaper, you can simply spread the paste evenly on the wall and brush the wallpaper strips against the wall from top to bottom with a wallpapering brush. With paper wallpaper, the individual strips of your brand wallpaper must soak a little so that the paste can penetrate.

Coat the wallpaper with the paste and put the individual sheets together to a package. The soaking time should be approximately the same for all strips (about five to ten minutes each). Also, make sure to use approximately the same amount of paste for each lane. Bring the wallpaper strip to the wall by first attaching only the upper part. Only when this is firmly in place, fold the lower part apart and brush it against the wall.

Scars between the sheets can then be smoothed with a scar roller. When choosing a sample wallpaper, pay attention to the respective design and ideally order one more roll to prevent possible blending.
